Here is a video of the boys water balloon fight. Enjoy!

Mychael's 10th Birthday Party!

Opening baseball cards.

Pl
Playing at the pool.

The cake was very good and you can differently tell by Mykie's face.

This last Saturday we threw Mykie a birthday party. He had 4 Friends over. We had lunch and then opened presents. The boys played Lego's for an half hour. The theme this year was army. She we got water balloons that looked like grenades when you filled them up, water guns and dog tags for each of the boys. They had a blast with the water balloons. The best part was when all the boys started gaining up on Steve with the water balloons. I wish I had the camera to take a picture. The boys had fun playing at the swimming pool and using the water guns. Then we came back to the apartment for cake and ice cream. Mykie picked out a snowboarding cake and it was very cool. Overall, we all had a good time and no one got hurt. Steve and I were exhausted toward the end of the party but slept good last night.
Happy Birthday Day Mykie!!!!

New Hair Cut

My New Hair Cut

Today I chopped my hair off. I have been contemplating this decision for a while. I decided that all I do with my hair is throw it up into a bun or pony tail and off to work I go. It was time to cut it and find an easier hair cut for me to do. Steve took this picture and played with, which is why it looks so good. I like my new hair cut, it is very weird not to have all my hair there. This is the shortest I have ever had my hair and I am getting use to it. I plan to donate my hair to locks for love.
Oh, for my last post. Steve is improving. I was reading over it and saw that wrote it wrong and had already posted it.

Photography

Hey everyone!
It has been a while since I posted anything on my blog so I thought I would update everyone on what is going on with us. This few months Steve has been in and out of the hospital due to a work related injury. He is not improving but not yet back to work. We are hoping he is able to go back to work sometime this coming week. While he has been at home, he has finished his photography website. Take a look: http://fstopproductions.net. He has worked so hard on it. We got our business cards and started advertising. We are well on out way to starting our photography business. Our plan is to start advertising in Seattle because he already has networks. He will fly up there and photograph with his mom. Once we start making some more money, then we will start advertising more in Colorado. This is our plan to start getting into the business.
I am in my second to last class for school and I am all done. I am getting very excited about that. I am so done with writing 6 page papers. I am enjoying my new job as a child care caseworker. It keeps me very busy but I like it that way.
Mykie and my birthdays are coming up and we plan to throw him a party this coming Saturday. We have some kids around our apartment complex who are coming. We are going to have lunch and then go swimming. I will post pictures after we have party. That is about it for us. Life has been crazy but starting to quit down.

That's right, I am graduating from college!

Waving to the camera....
That's right, I graduated college this last Saturday, June 21, 2008. Most of you know this has been a long road and I never thought this day would actually come. In fact, when I graduated high school I never really had intentions of graduating college. It has taken me 5 years to finally get my bachelors degree. I started my journey with school at Weber State University in Utah. I was working toware a degree in general studies. I lived on my own, worked full time, and went to school. Now, if that is not exhausting I am not sure what is. It was a struggle at times and I would have to drop credits at times and only go part time but I still stayed dedicated. When I was a junior at Weber State, I decided I needed a changed in my life and picked up and moved to Seattle, Washington. After living in Seattle for a few months, I really wanted to go back to school. I came to the realization that I needed a school that would allow me to work full time and go to school full time. Another realization was if I was going to buckle down and do this I would need to take out a student loan. I had paid for all my schooling up to this point on my own. Not sure how I did all that with no help from my familybut I set a goal for myself. I weighed out my options and started look at schools. I had a friend that was an enrollment counselor at the University of Phoenix. He told me about the different programs and about the school. I prayed a lot about it and chose to start at the University of Phoenix in Feb., 2006. Two and a half years later I graduate! I could not be more excited, I had lots of emotions at the graduation because I have worked so hard for that moment. Going to college was not a goal I had but it is a goal I set for myself. This experience has shown me that I can do anything I set my mind to.

I must add that getting to graduation this past week did not come without its challenges. My husband Steve had a work related accident about an month ago, he strapped his leg really bad. Well, long story short he had surgery last Tuesday and was in the hospital until Friday. Not to mention I had family coming into town that week at the same time all this was going on. It was a wild ride to say the least but we made it through and graduation was a great day. Oh, Steve is healing slowly but doing much better.
